Default best ported throttle body

Now that Bo White isn't doing these anymore (for now at least), who else does good work for a good price? The only place I've seen that does TB porting is Thunderracing, and they want $150 for one.

The person that I feel does the best job is Scott Jantzer, he does really nice work. I was very impressed with how my tb looked when I recieved it. However, he doesnt have that good of a reputation around here.

Contact Shaner. $150 is not bad considering the amount of work done: porting and polishing, epoxy gap (best way to fill in the void), grind bump stop. Mine looks stock, nice craftsmanship and works great. There'll be pics on my site.

Shaner does great work, I wouldn't send a tb to Jantzer if he was going to port it for free. Cammin_BeaSSt may still be doing them, they are great for the cost!

Sucks what happened with Janzter as his were nice. Anymore, I'd go with a Shaner or Cammin_BeaSSt.

Don't be cheap. Get the MTI, $399, and the smooth bellows, $50. Way overpriced, but nice. Mine are on the way along with an LS6 intake.

I hear that cammin_beast's tb porting is on par with Bo's work, and is also a good price as well.

I 've heard the same thing, and as a matter of fact, if I didnt already have a Bo White tb, thats who I'd go with!

Load Yahoo and enter 'shaner throttle body', it should be the first result. Shaner can do a polished outside for a few extra dollars btw.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for my Shaner TB. Emailed him a couple of days ago just asking for my money back but haven't heard anything from him. I know his TB's are kick *** but damn 3 weeks?? After the Jantzer horror stories I read there's no way I would've ordered from him but IMO Shaner hasn't been any better thus far. If it's taking me this long to get my TB I don't even wanna know how long it'll take to get my core charge back.

It does take a few weeks to get your TB from Shanner. He is very busy. I think its worth it. I sent my core and got my core refund back within a week.

Thanx for the compliments guys!!! Im still porting, just not advertising too much. Last month I did 37 TBs and it got a lil hectic.

I still guarantee I will have your TB completed and back in the mail within 72 hours of getting it. Let me know if I can help any of you out.

There are plenty of pics if you do a search on my name. They seem to be working quite well so far

Definitely don't order from Jantzer...There are a few of us that have been waiting over 100 days to get out TB...I'm at about 115 now.

I personally don't see why you would pay anyone to do that for you. I'm sure they do great work, but why pay so much money for something that will only net 10 HP at the most? You could get about the same gains by just doing it yourself. Or better yet, just save up the money and buy a 90mm with a better intake!

75 shipped for 8 to 10 rwhp with a ported TB...... An underdrive pulley will yield 6 to 8 rwhp and you would have almost 300 bucks in that after belts and shipping......... Seems like a smart move to me?!?!?!
