ls1 to ls6 intake question

When upgrading to the ls6 intake from the ls1 is there a way to keep the egr valve (can you put a hole where the ls1 intake has one). the only reason I ask is because im rebuilding my motor and would like to upgrade to the ls6 but with the strict emissions here in CA Im not sure I would pass with just the block-off plate.
any help and pics if possible would be a great help. Thanks.

SLP makes an emissions campatable ls6 intake with the egr hookup. Hope this helps you.

I just put one on my car, I got the slp ls6 intake with egr. You wont pass emissions if you delete the egr, so you are going to need it since we are in cali.
