Default Fast 90/90 or LS6/Ported stock TB for F13-cam only

I'll be ordering myself an F13 on a 112LSA for my '01 M6 car and want to maximize my intake flow. How much power will I leave on the table with a stock ported TB on my LS6 intake vs a 90/90 combo setup? I've been reading around trying to convince myself to get a 90/90 setup for the extra power, but from what it seems is that it's not the greatest gain-per-dollar on a cam only car. Hell, I could buy a nice nitrous setup for the same cost. Any opinions?

90/90 will pay off bigger dividends of power when you put heads on. On an F13 Cam-only setup, you may see some gains. It's a lot of money. 90/90 works. Nitrous however will provide huge gains for the $$$. You can't compare the two mods.

I'm thinking that I will wait for the 90/90 'til I get some heads on the car. From what I've seen, I'd probably get no more than 10-12hp on stock heads. I was just using the nitrous as a reference to the high cost of just an intake & TB setup, I definately wasn't comparing them.

well look at it this way you spend nearly 400 bucks on a ls6 intake now and then in a year you want the 90mm setup when you do heads so you will lose money on resale of your ls6 and then spend the same 1300 bucks on the 90mm setup you could have bought last year, instead of going the cheap way out. I say spend the extra dough and get the intake that will help you the more mods you do

actually he has an LS6 intake on the car right now. 01s & 02s came with them. i say go with a ported TB and maybe a ported LS6 for now. its cheaper and will maintain the lower end tq. FAST is a great option for power adders, highass revving big hp cams and big cubes.

I wouldn't spend the $$ to port the LS6 manifold. You might make a couple of hp, but you might have trouble selling it if you ever decide to.
I would leave the LS6 alone and put on a ported throttle body, or go all out and get a FAST 90/90 and port match it to some aftermarket heads.
