Problem after LT install??????????
There are two things that can make the car feel slower after a LT setup. 1. Leaks. They will rob HP. 2. Using a non catalytic converter Y-pipe. Without the cat converter adding a little back-pressure to the system, you have effectively decreased low end torque AND shifted the HP curve higher up on the rev scale. Overall HP will be higher, but it will come at a higher RPM and overall torque will be at a higher RPM as well. For street driving, this will cause the car to feel a bit slower at first, as torque is what gives the kick in the pants feel when hitting the gas.
As for people installing LT's from start to finish in -4 hours, I'd like to see that!! It took 10 hours WITH A LIFT to install my LT's, Y-pipe, and converters on my LS1. I've done the job before too.
