Default Do shorter dynomax bullets rasp more than longer ones

I'm looking at 12" (I love loud) for a true dual setup. HOwever do shorter bullets rasp more (compared to 16" and 18" sizes)? I know the shorter the louder. Thanks.

Thanks. I would like Sweet Thunders, but they're too restrictive for the power I'm going to put down.

I'll probably end up going with 16" bullets then. I would like 12" for the loudness, but want to minimize any rasp.

the 12's and the 16's are the same muffler. 12 is the legth of the actual part that has the fiberglass in it and 16 is the total length. i have one of these on each header on my daily driver and thats it, basically open headers and i love the sound.

Oh thanks for clearing that up. So when people are using the 18", is that the length of the meat of the muffler and not the overall?
