Better flowing muffler?
Got the standard SLP cat-back system on my 00 SS....................
Is there a better flowing muffler that will bolt on that will actually increase rwhp? Something similar to GMMG chambered perhaps? I want to stay with stainless.
Thanks for knowledgable replys.

if you want to stay stainless and what the most flow, magnaflow would be the best bet for you. No one sells the chambered style mufflers that will bolt directly in like a direct fit muffler, only way you can get that is if you run the GMMG catback, which sounds bad ***!

Hard to imagine anything flowing better, just louder. The SLP D/D is a straight through design, I put the D/D on after I bought the car and had a look for myself.

If youre going to go through a muffler... I would recommend Spintechs splitcase direct replacement for F-bodies. Id put money on it that its one of the best flowing.... with cutout open I dynoed 399rwhp.. closed through the Spintech *also note, through more restrictive center mount exhaust* I dynoed 385rwhp.
Thats only 14rwhp difference... I wonder how a Borla would fair vs that... hell I wonder how ANY other fairs vs that. I know my friends BLOWmaster eats almost 30rwhp.

You can order them directly from them too.
