Default Headers

I dont know i just think qtp LT's and their catted y will be just too much money and i think i can use that extra money elsewhere.....How are the jet hot headers or other brands.....car never sees rain and if it does its because i got stuck in the rain and didnt get home in time.....how bad do they rust....Is that the only problem with the non stainless headers.....they do perform just as good as the expensive brands right??? Thank You

I'd reccomend pacesetters.. you can have them ceramic coated and all for under 400 dollars..

just keep away from their Y pipe.

We are having a special on Edelbrock "Ti-Tech" coated headers! They are a stepped header(1 3/4 to 1 7/8) with 3 1/2" slip fit collectors. They also come with the correct fittings if you need emissions for you to weld on. This header is alot cheaper than the stainless headers out there and make very good hp. Shoot me a pm for pricing

This guy knows what he's talking about! I recommend the pacesetter LT's and along with these get the HOOKER ORY.They were made for each other!

Pacesetters have been known to rust pretty quickly, along with every other coated header. Mine are showing a little surface rust already on them and I have had them for about 4 months now. If you dont want to deal with rust then get the stainless headers. To keep the rust down on coated headers, just go in and polish them up every once in a while. If you do decide on getting coated instead of stainless get the Pacesetters. They just slide in with no problems and are a really good header for the price. Also pick up one of TSP's y pipes, very adjustable and are also very nice for the price.

If it virtually never even sees rain I'd go with coated pacesetters. Be ready to potentially deal with a little bit of surface rust even though you don't typically drive in rain/snow.

mac's are not lt's but the power is very close and if you plan on lowering you will be much happier than with lt's as for the coating jet hot works great the stock coating on pacesetters, mac's etc is not jet hot and will not last like jet hot hooker is jet hot coated .could get the pacesetters or mac's uncoated and send to jet hot. driving in the rain will not matter that much they rust from the inside worse than the outside anyway heat and moisture ....rust heaven lol hope this was some help
