Some pics of my setup. I am very happy with my true duals. Sounds a 100 times better than any catback, very mellow at light throttle, very little interior resonance at all (mainly only in 6th gear at about 1200 rpms), and sound muscular and screams at 3000 rpms and up. My ground clearance is better or equal to any y pipe setup. I had my duals fabbed up by a local exhaust shop. I used 4" round body magnaflows and a magnaflow tru-x crossover pipe. It is 2.5" all the way back. Hope that helps.

Hey, I havn't seen that info on here for awhile.
Interesting point is that no mufflers produced by far the least horsepower of the bunch.

What on that list most closely resemebles dynomax bullets?

DWillTA,
That is a very nice looking setup. Did you have to bring any parts to the shop or do they do all the ordering and fabrication on site? What was your final cost, with and without your headers?

if you plan on taking girls out, don't get the duals, just get a nice y and an elec cutout,

unless you plan on getting dual all the way out the back its gonna be loud as hell.

AHHAH your kidding right... :-( No, honestly I agree with your advice.

I want the duals out the back with a quality set of mufflers both for looks and for auditory issues. If anyone is running a nice quiet setup, let me know of your muffler brand and any possible links to a sound clip.

I have flowtech LT adn had a local shop fab a x-pipe and 3" pipe all the way to the back and bullet mufflers. Except I went under the axle. NO clearance problems. Sounds awesome, but couldn't imagine how loud with dumps.

looks good, but how are you susposed to take the exhaust off if you need to work on your car?

The shop is a magnaflow dealer so I purchased all the pipes from them. Cost was around $700, I think, for headers back including tips. I installed Pacesetters race style, coated. So for the complete exhaust I have about $1200.

I had the collectors welded because I was having alot of problems with leaks at the collector. The pipe is slid into the header and a simple chain style pipe cutter could be used to cut the weld and the pipe slides out. There is plenty of room to remove the tranny with the exhaust intact. There is no rattles at all. I am 100% satisfied.
