Default FRA Mod

today when i got home i decided to do the FRA Mod, and all i have to say is why didnt i do this before. throttle response is better and feels like it pulls more and wants to take off, just may all be in my head but i know i felt a difference. and also it is the easiest mod you can do.

It is easy, but I'll bet it's most psychological. It is worth a little bit, but you won't really feel even 0.1 gain, and if you do it won't be hugely noticeable.

I did it when I got my SLP lid 6mo after I bought the car. I could tell a big SOTP difference. Maybe it was more the lid than the FRA, but I really like it 5yrs later.

I used a Dremmel tool with saw disc and medium speed. Sand the edges smooth. You'll also love the sound both intake & exhaust after the mod.

yeah the intake seems to scream now when you get on it sounds awsome more air flow is way better. and i just use a handheld power cutting saw and the plastic peice was done in minutes and the other peice is rubber so you can cut that with a razor.
