Default Ordered the SLP lid

Is this lid good?? I just ordered it today. Will I feel a difference once I put it on???

its a good quality lid.. unlike most of SLP's stuff...


difference varys between ppl its kinda hard to feel a 8rwhp difference..

Both true...the lid is very high quality, I had one. The Butt-o-meter will be hard pressed to feel a difference from any lid, IMO...

Its a good lid, some people have had problems with it, you should be fine though. I felt a difference when I installed my lid.

u will feel it because u know its there, its all a mind game when you deal with small hp increases. at least tahts how i am lol

That sucks I won't be able to feel it...I wanna feel a difference! So if I got my car dynoed it will be 8RWHP more?? I heard from some people 10 rwhp

It all depends on the air temp and the dyno. Anywhere from 8-10 HP is normal.

I know that I felt the increase with the lid, it was not much, but I definitly felt it.

I could understand feeling a 10hp difference in a 120hp car, but in a 300 hp car? Come on. If you did, it was because you were telling yourself you would.

Yeah it's just a mind thing. If you look for it you'll think you found it. But look at the bright side of it whether you feel it or not you are still 8-10hp stronger.

u will most likely notice an increase in throttle response, when i did mine the car picked up a lot better

The fit is not always great(see pic). It does stay on for me though and I got mine new for 100$ shipped on ebay. I did not feel a difference but im sure it helps and the little things will add up eventually I suppose.

General tip: You should ask if a product is good *before* you order, or better yet, search.

i had fitment issues with a k&n filter, stock filter is back in the car now and i had slp and tsp and they worked fine, i just didnt like the hole on the slp lid for the air

No, not anymore... i ordered the Air induction package, comes with the Ram air, Lid, Filter, and smooth bellow... all for $300. If you ask me that's a great deal out there. I was on back order for 2 weeks... not very happy... since this **** is holding up my decisions to order my QTP Lt's at the moment also.. i don't wanna be jammed up with things to install so i'll wait to instal the Lid first. Then my Headers... Buddy's gonna help.. thank god he's got power lifts!
