Porting stock exhaust manifolds Ok so I'm trying to sell my stock exhaust manifolds w/ 18,000 miles on them- No more, No Less. I cleaned them up they are completely rust free, and was wondering if it would be worth it to port them and then sell them, would people buy those? How would i go about poting them?

I'm not really getting what's supposed to keep coming. The only way of getting rid of the stock manifolds is to give them away, sell them for almost nothing, or catch a sucker on eBay.
I doubt that any knowledgable LS1 owner would waste the cash.

Stock exhaust manifolds aren't worth much, but ported ones are worth some cash. $100-150 dollars. Problem is, they're only worth that kind of dough if they're ported correctly. Grinding out the collector doesn't do much. It's taking material out right at the entrance and the quick turn that makes the biggest difference. There's a company that sells dyno proven CNC ported exhaust manifolds for $165 with no core charge. Keep that in mind when pricing yours. There's a VERY limited market.
