Question about spiral flows with cats
Question about spiral flows with cats I'm going to be installing true duels with spiral flows dumped befor the rearend on my car, and I was wondering if putting cats would make the spiral flows sound like glass packs. I'm new to LS1's and didnt know how to go about eliminating the catylatic converters. Also how loud would my car be on the inside with the exhaust dumped befor the rear?

With your exhaust dumped, it will be pretty loud inside of the car. The spiral flos sound good, but they're pretty damn loud.

your making me jelous. What would happen if I didnt tune out the codes would the car run real bad, or will the SES light just be on? The reasn I ask is because the neaarest place that could do that is like 250 miles from where I live.
BTW 99FormulaM6 how do these mufflers sound in real life, and how loud are they inside?

Will getting rid of the cats also eliminate the need for the AIR tubes? Also I'm thinking of going with the edelbrock headers part # 350-6571. but they list them for 98-02, and I see that hooker lists 98-99 and 00-02 seperate. Why is that?Would I need to eliminate AIR and EGR?
