"sealing" airbox to the hood

"sealing" airbox to the hood well i took my old baffle from the inside of the hood and cut it up and used existing holes, right now its zip tied until i can get some nuts and bolts to fit right that are all the same size. i used some rubber stripping i found at work and it works great. i also put a piece of weather stripping under the air box to seal the underside off to any crap getting in from there. i dont have a pic of that though.

thanks, ill get pics once i get it done, ill have the bolts and nuts black so u cant see it. i like it so far, at first i was afraid it was gonna be too shitty
looks good, realistically, have you seen or felt any difference?
This seems like a good idea....i have an ultra z hood and the opening where the air "rams" into the box is like an inch tall. I thought about cutting the lid open so when the hood closes, it is sealed, like your design.
Do you think i should seal the bottom as well?

havent drove it yet, dont see much of a diff. maybe just more constant temps, little more air pressure at speed that builds up, but i doubt ill see noticable gains, but hey every little bit helps

i have also seen a steady reading of 98 kpa with a very short wot run where before it was staying more at 97, not sure if this is a result of this or not but i like to think it was lol
