Default Longtubes/crossmember??
OK, this has probably already been asked before so I don't care to hear the **** about using the "search button". I just installed Pacesetter longtubes, I was wondering what you guys do with the crossmember that goes over the y-pipe. Is it neccesary? For now i just heated it and bent it, but it still bangs under acceleration. I am sick of messing with it. Can I take it off without a problem?

Yes you can take it off. Most people put a DS loop in there anyway, but I haven't had one on mine for 3 years now...
