Its really simple, you can just have them scan it for you when you go in there also.

Did you hook your air pump back up? That throws a code also.

That's messed up. I've had many codes (mostly stupid ones..) pulled by autozone. I just ask to have a code read, tell them the year/make, and somebody comes out with a scanner and reads it for me. I think you just plug the scanner into the plug, then switch the ignition to the on position and the scanner will show you the code(s).

Never done it myself though.

Or if you can't understand it or don't have time to read them, here they are.
1. Plug it in to the port
2. Turn the key to the on position (DO NOT turn the car on)
3. Press the POWER button or SCAN button
4. Scan through the codes with the arrow buttons
5. Erase the codes

If the codes keep coming back, you need to fix or replace something. The scanner will help you figure out what is wrong with it if something is.

thats a heater circuit problem with your drivers side front 02 sensor. check the plugs and make sure none of the pins are pushed out. if thats fine then there is a problem with the heater circuit inside the o2 sensor. then you either are not getting power or ground to the heater circuit in the 02 sensor or the o2 sensor itself is bad

Your O2 sensor has a heater inside it. O2 sensors only work after they reach like 600*. On a cold start, you won't be getting proper air/fuel mixture so the heated O2 sensor is supposed to correct that. It heats up quickly. Sounds like your heater went bad and you may need to replace it. Bad news is that our O2 sensors are $80. I would take it out, clean the sensor with some gasoline or carburetor/choke cleaner, and clean out the connection with some connection cleaner. The connection cleaner is an alcohol base spray that cleans but evaporates leaving no rust behind.

Try these things and if it still doesn't work, I would find a friend who has a used one that is still good. If you pull the sensor and shake it, you should be able to tell if it is bad or not. If it rattles, it is bad. Just don't let that metal washer trick you into that. Hold the washer against the sensor and then shake it. Hope this info helps.

I'm getting the same code. Looks like I'll be doing something when I get off work.

this code is usually generated by the fact that with long tubes the o2 sensors are located farther away from the engine and get less heat to them. a way to fix this is to buy the corvette rear o2 sensors, they have a better heater in them. they also have a really long wire which allows you to not need o2 extensions.
