Ignition problem question on LS1 Hey guys I have a 2000 Trans Am and last week my car started running bad and the service engine light started flashing and came on. I popped up the code and it said multiple cylinder misfire. It seemed like it was ignition related cause it was a mid to high speed miss. Tonight, I looked at it closer and pulled it in my garage when it was pitch black and noticed that there was 2 spots where spark was arcing. It looked like the number 2 and 8 cylinders, sometimes the spark would arc off the exhaust manifold and other times by the chassis by them plug wires. My voltage guage is also fluctuating pretty good at times and the car doesn't have much power. My question is, do you think that both plug wires are shot and causing tem to arc or could it be arcing from the coil packs or plugs themselves. I have 8.5mm MSD wires and there not even about 6 months old, so I can't see 2 of the wires being crap but I dunno. In all of my previous experiences with cars wires would normally fix the problem so i'm guessing that's it but any input is greatly appreciated and sorry for the long post. Thanks Racinman123
