Default Hooker Exhaust?

Hello,

I was thinking of purchasing the Hooker Catback system for my 95 Z28 and I was wondering what people thought of it and if it sounds just as good and gets as much out of your car like a Borla or Corsa. I really wanted the Borla but I cant afford it right now and Im leaning towards the Hooker any input on this exhaust would be great.

Thanks,
Chris

I love my hooker CB. It is on a Lt's ory and ls1. Its pretty quiet at idle and crusing it 6th but it screams at WOT.

Hooker is very mellow until you floor it, I like it.

I really like mine. Not loud, but noticable. Authoritative when you mash the gas. Doesn't drone enough that I've found objectionable. Lets me hear the radio.

The only hooker equipped LT1 I've heard had heads/cam and no cats, but it's far from quiet and doesn't sound like the LS1's with hooker catbacks. It's loud, sounds like a race car at high rpm and has a fair amount of popping.

I have a hooker catback in my 95 Impala SS. 2 words.....Love IT! Sounds good at idol, enough to make people think its much more then stock but not loud. Mash the gas, still not too loud but loud enough to make it sound good! To be honest people told me I went with a cheap exhaust, when I bought the Hooker. But honestly it sounds better to me then any other exhaust Ive heard on a LT-1 driven Impala SS. Im sure other cars would sound just as good.

I love my hooker catback. As they all were saying, mellow at idel. Sounds real nice around town at 2-3k but romp on the gas and everyone looks. I have scared the **** out of numerous people going WOT

Add in a T-Rex and it's really badass. I have never gotten so many thumbs-up and people asking "what's in that thing". People have run into the street to ask me while sitting at a redlight before, lol.
