Gains from intake/header/pulley change on a 408.... I was hoping you guys could give me rough idea of the possible gains with the following setup....
Basics: 11:1 CR 408 using TEA Stage III cylinder heads (flow 318 @ .600 lift on the intake w/ excellent midlift numbers) w/ Comp XER grind 242/248 .608/.612 112 lsa. The car put down 488rwhp/481rwtq with the stock LS6 intake, 1 3/4 headers, & no underdrive pulley. This was thru a 12 bolt and steel driveshaft.
Obviously, I'm just looking for an estimate here....How much power could be gained by adding a 90/90 combo, 1 7/8 headers, and an ASP pulley, all tuned up for the new mods?
