Best Method of gutting cats... I know it will set off the SES light but from my understanding its only to let you know that the rear 02's are sensing the rear 2 cats are not functioning right... and it will NOT go into limp mode..
yes I know its gona be raspy and probably run dirty and its only like a 4-6rwhp increase but I want the car to be louder and every bit counts..
now that I got that out of the way what is the simplest way of getting this done?

Get a long, 1/4" drill bit. Masonry is better still but if
you want to consider it "disposable" or resharpen it
then get a cheap HSS, 12"+ long one at Home Depot.
Drill a bunch of holes into the honeycomb, to weaken
it up. Then ram it with your crowbar until it breaks up.
Be sure you get all the chunks and the fiber wrapper
too. Voila, genuine fake cats. You might want to take
a burr or ball stone to the sharp edges in the necks,
to minimize raspy noises. The hollow cats will be a
bit boomy at 2000-3000RPM as you've also just made
yourself an exhaust resonator.

Go to your local hardware store and buy one of those cheap hand crank plumbers snakes. Chuck it up in your 3/8ths" drive drill and go to town. If your worried about the SES get some O2 simms. The exhaust note is considerably improved with hollow cats.
