Frazier goes down!!! Frazier goes down!!! Frazier goes down!!!
Too bad I'm Frazier in this time. The GD straight pipe between the ORYP and where it turns up to go over the axle will have to be cut in half. I've knocked that pipe as far back as it can travel (it's hitting the rear axle)...nowhere else to go. I have beat the ever loving **** out of the bend over the axle hoping to loosen that connection. No luck. It ain't budging one bit.

I'm not taking this loss lightly. I will get whatever tool, whatever it cost to cut through that 3" bastard tomorrow. My next fight is scheduled to tomorrow afternoon against the SLP dual/dual. Get your bets in early because I'm coming out swinging for the fences!!! I will never take an opponent lightly again. Stupid? Yeah. Slow? Nope!

Little tube of steel??

That damn thing is a stainless steel GD zombie! It knows what you want to do and it is hell-bent and determined to stop you. If it had overheard me say how much I love it, then it would have fallen out at about 60mph and launched me like a pole vaulter onto a high voltage wire. It knows!

The GMMG monster hits the concrete tomorrow. Bet on it. The SLP will be no contest.

Let's dispel with all the pleasantries, as a GMMG catback I wholehearted resent the unconscionable abuse you have subjected one of our poor defenseless systems too. This is downright cruelty to cleverly crafted stainless, and as repayment for your abuse a neighbor will inherit my fury and seek to destroy many peaceful Sunday mornings on my behalf with angry startups and rev limiter burnouts .

Sorry Artic but the GMMG hasn't bled one drop nor been issued a standing eight count. It will sleep well tonight knowing it has thoroughly kicked my wimpy little *** whilst I toss and turn trying to think of a way to outwit the little bastard. But rest assured of this: I HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!!! Tomorrow victory will be mine.....the sweet smell of napalm will fill the air in the morning!

I would leave the napalm alone and get a sawzaw with a 6 inch rough cut blade and cut the system about an inch below the catback

Thanks Cammin, you talking about a couple inches behind where the ORYP ends? That's where the straight pipe begins and not further back toward the axle. Right?

If you don't want to cut it you can take it off in one piece. When I bought my used GMMG it was u-bolted where the I-pipe meets the over axle pipe. I knew there was no way to seperate the pipes so I installed it in one piece, so it is possible

I would try that shawn but it won't come loose from the Y-pipe.
The fight has been pushed back to 3P due to heat and humidity. If I never post again you will know the GMMG took me out. My wife won't know the value of any of the cars so you guys fight it out to see who gets to steal what.

Well, I cut behind the Y-pipe. Now I figure with that end loose I can twist and turn the POS apart. Nope. Wouldn't budge. **** it. I cut where the straight pipe goes up over the axle. Victory is mine. The beaten GMMG exhaust is laying on the floor in a heap. Tomorrow I start on the SLP with the experience and confidence of a champion. The SLP goes down in two. Hard!
(pray for me)
