Default Induction boxes

Is one induction box as good as the other (SLP,MTI,etc...)?
Is the cold air induction that fits in front of the radiator worth the money and will it cause the radiator to lose some of its cooling capabilities due to being in front?

Any lid will get you the same amount of power. The FTRA will make you more power at higher speed. You wont have any over heating issues. Just watch out for puddles if you drive in the rain. Here's some more reading materal if you haven't seen this https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139142

Me too. You could build one a lot cheaper, but I didnt' think it was worth the time.

sorry to rob your thread but i thought id just add on to an existing one instead of starting a new one. well i have a '99 TA non-ram air but with an aftermarket lid, (not sure what brand but it looks like just every other lid you see). well my question is can i hook the FTRA or a CAI up to my lid? or is just the lid itself good enough alone?

I went with the TSP Lid. No rubbing issues and it fits good. Just go with the one that you like the most.
