I did the plugs.6'3" 195,just cause everyone is throwing that out there. I stand in front of the car and just reach back there.I've never done it from the bottom, but I cant see it being easier than from the top.Once you pull off the coil pack and air tube it takes less than 10 min. versus jacking up the car and climbing underneith. The hardest part of the coil packs is the last bolt, but once its out I throw it away making it way easier to take off and put on.

I use a spark plug socket with a 3/4 socket and have never had a problem.I use a deep 3/4 on 2 & 4 then a shallow 3/4 on 6 & 8.

Anyway,I figured some people do the climb inside thing but I had never seen it before.I found it rather amusing to walk out into the garage and see him up under there.

I get the drivers side and all of the passenger side except number 8 from the top..you do not need to take off the coil packs..unles you just like to do extra work..number 8 is a piece of cake from the bottom..drive up on the rhino ramps and it is very EZ to do..25 minutes is about what it takes to do all eight of the plugs... .. I have no emmisions stuff to deal with..got rid of that dead weight a long time ago

On my stock 1999 Z28, I got to the #8 by removing the coil packs and removing the air tube. I then kneeled on the battery and used a 1/2" socket, a breaker bar, and a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter, and of course the 15mm spark plug socket.

Don't know about your "Grot LTs", but my Hookers let me get my whole arm up there. In fact, when you get under the car and look for #8 (after doing the others), it looks like a little piece of heaven because it's so exposed!!

That sucker got stuck in there BAD. I think that was the first time the plugs had been changed(70k miles). Of course I didn't tighten it down with the breaker bar.
