but now im looking for a nice great sound and clean,,, no more blotchy , super raspy sound....

so im looking for either hooker or magnaflow

i love the gurgle and howl of an exhaust...
i kind of want teh sound to be the same but cleaner i dont know if your following me.... LOL help

go with hooker. All the sound clips on LS1sounds.com of it in any exhaust combination sound awsome. It quiet at idle, deep & clean under acceleration & screaming at WOT. It has very little rasp or drone. And its cheaper. Thats what im ordering for my 99' WS6

I think im gonna go the same route as you. At the end of the month i am ordering Kooks LT's, ORY and Hooker. I also might go Kooks LT's, ORX into 2 electric cutouts, but keep my stock exhaust, so whenever i wanna be loud and emission illegal, I can be.

Anyways, my vote is for Hooker because it truely sounds badass with fullexhaust setup. Tell us how it sounds when you get them on!

People are asking which one to go with all time. Have you searched much? There was a large thread with a poll in it not too long ago....

Seems to end up split roughly 50/50 between the two. Can't go wrong either way. My typical vote is hooker.

magnaflow is louder, or at least i think. the magnaflow is stainless so it will last longer but costs about 100 bucks more. I have the hooker and love them. its all up to you and what you want out of the exhaust. you could get the hooker and put some money back for something like new spark plugs and wires. just a though

Hey just so you know I have Magnaflow with ORY and Hooker longtubes and added a cut-out and dynoed open and closed. no rwhp gain which shows that Magnaflow flows quite well and like stated before it is stainless

You won't lose any tangible power going to hooker or magnaflow. They both flow exceptionally well. You can see why they are so popular, and to a slightly lesser extent the SLP dual/dual. They flow very well, sound good even without cats, aren't too loud, are quality made and aren't too expensive.

Had them both, can't go wrong with either. Magnaflow (stainless) will last longer.
