Default coolant leak from reservoir?

So I have a slow coolant leak but couldn't tell where it was coming from. Went racing Friday night and notice today a much larger than normal puddle of coolant under the car. I track the leak to under the reservoir. Pull the battery out and there is a puddle under the battery where the little rubber hose goes into the top of the reservoir from the radiator. I don't know if the coolant was coming up from the reservoir or coming down the little hose from the top of the radiator (maybe the cap was leaking onto the hose and carrying it to the top of the reservoir?) Anyone have anything like this happen before? I've also had a low coolant light on and off for a while too. Any suggestions? Should the metal tube going into the top of the reservoir be perfectly sealed? I ask b/c I notice water seeps around the tube. This wouldn't cause the leak unless the reservoir was full and if it was full then why I have a low coolant light at the same time?

Needs to be sealed. Shouldn't be anything leaking. Is the reservoir overfilled?

I figured it out...the radiator cap was leaking and the coolant was going down the outside of the little reservoir hose to the top of the reservoir where a puddle had formed and was leaking down the outside of the reservoir. Thanks though.
