I broke this:
maybe
maybe
maybe
i guess i shouldn't have worded it as "smack" it which a hammer
i did mean just tap it lightly, to see if she'll spin, i'll try that after the good 'ol JB weld lol
whata i do? i honestly don't know what to do
other than drop the oil pan and drill and retap that hole, and I don't wanna do that, I probably don't even have TIME to do that. ugh.........................
i hope someone has a great idea. i'm going to ask around at work to see if someone has easy outs, but i don't think theres room to use one...even with the header off
also, just for sh*ts and giggles, here is a couple pics of the bolt head that broke off.

i don't think its the oil temp sensor, theres nothing pluged into it. i've never seen an easy out, so is there room for one to fit?
its a 6mm right? i found a 3 piece set at sears.com for like 30 bucks
i'll see if i can just buy one.
hopefully theres enough room up there when the header is off to get a dremel in there
should i consider grinding the suface flate (flush) so i can drill in there?

okay cool. i'll have to see if anybody at work has one
if not, maybe they'll sell just singles at advanced or napa
if that doesn't, then I have the punch style easy offs. these aren't threaded, but you smack 'em in with a hammer.
I think I may have the threaded easy outs, but i dunno what will work better?
I'm going to tackle this tmr, so wish me luck.
my last 2 questions for now
i should really file that flat so I can center punch it, before i drill. problem with this is that it'll probably be flush by time its flat. that makes me nervous
the big question:
should the auto parts store have those bolts in stock? or are they some odd ball f*cked up size? If they are odd ball, whats the part number so I can order them?

Thought you couldnt get a drill in there.
i tried it tonight and it mighta fit, but i was able to center punch it, and accidently chip a piece off, and then was able to turn it around with the punch
i'm happy now lol
thanks for the help guys
