How good is the stock 2002 SS exhaust?
How good is the stock 2002 SS exhaust? Has anyone replaced their stock SS cat-back exhaust and noticed significant gains? I have the dual outlet exhaust; no special exhaust options. Is it at all restrictive compared to an aftermarket set up? It looks almost like the flowmaster muffler under there!
if its not the optional exhaust from slp..its crap....if it is the optional exhaust...then its a 3inch cat back. i had the optional ehxaust witha cutout..and i switched to a TSP rumbler and noticed a difference in the *** dyno, but who knows how accurate that is.

I went from the normal exhaust like you had to a loudmouth and felt a difference. Then I added headers, then switched to magnaflow for some quiet, then went back to manifolds and still have the magnaflow and its been too long to say whether the magnaflow feels as good as the loudmouth, but i'm sure its better than stock. certainly sounds better
