ORY question I've read that ORY pipes are illegal, so how do you get away with putting them on? Have any of you ever got fined for it? Same with LT headers, I've heard those are illegal. I want both, but I also don't want to get caught with them.
you cant get a ticket for them, but some states make it hard, or impossible to pass emmissions with them, i would say it shouldnt be too hard in minnesota, just ask around at shops that do emmissions, and find one that will pass you

you gotta have a real dick cop who knows something about cars to fine you for that, or be caught around somewhere where they have street racing problems, so don't even worry about it. I am in the Smog **** state and I have LTs and an ORY

ive been driving without cats and with LT's for almost 2 years and have had no problems.
but was told by a sheriff friend that a cop can send you and your car to a police inspector and they will check out your entire car, MODS? back to stock or they will impound. but they dont do that very often.
