What to do with exhaust

Default What to do with exhaust

ive been thinking and i dont knw if i want a ORY or a cutout, what do you guys think would be better and what would i get more hp with? i have the hooker aero chambered muffler, i dont knw how that would sound on stock manifolds tho.(couldnt find nothin on ls1sounds.com) so should i just get an ory or a qtp elec. cut out?

both lol. elec. cutout would be nice, I hate having to crawl under my car to cap it. I have LTs, and ORY and cutout lemme know if you wanna hear it.

if u can get the cutout mounted so it easier to reach and uncap, then that would be the cheapest way, 30 or so bucks. i dont like messing with electric ones, my mccord leaked even after a rebuilt, but it is FUN to open it at a touch of a button. however with this car imma fab up some true duals w/ bullets and be done with it.

is the qtp elec. known to leak? do you think i would get more gain from a cutout then an ORY?

I would go with the ORY for the reason that any hp gain you do get will be there all the time, instead of having to open a cutout, that is if you don't get an electric one, which will be alot loader than an ORY through your Hooker muffler. ORY + O2 simms is alot more money than a cutout if thats any concern. If you choose the cut-out route then pm me i've got my old one i'll sell cheap.

do you have headers??

im guessing no. if so then get headers. dont waste your money on an ory for your stock manifolds. you will just have to change it again when you get headers. if you wanna change your exhaust without getting headers a cutout is definatly the way to go.
