Default Can I trick the EGR?

I am getting LT's and ORY for my 99 z28 and want to !egr plus !air to clean up the engine bay. Is there a way to fool the computer by using a resistor (something smilar to the radio shack skip shift mod) so it thinks that the egr is still in place and working? Or am I completely wrong about how i think the egr works?

yup, or if you have hptuners or ls1edit you could do it yourself. otherwise call up a couple tuning places and ask them how much to delete the codes.

To do it right, you should get it tuned. Your computer compensates for the EGR exhaust flow by adding timing. In order to do it right you will want to have this adjusted.
