Question Best Headers & Y: LT/ORY

Hey guys. I know everyone has their opinion on headers. That's just one of those things. I'm looking for a LT that's stainless & an ORY. I've been leaning towards Kooks for a little while now, but I need input. I'm also looking at the Kooks ORY. Any good? I've also looked @ QTP. I want a high end set of headers that I won't have to replace in 5 years when they are all rusty. I'm thinking 1 3/4 primary with AIR. I'm also looking for O2 sims b/c I live in NY & any car over 94 needs to be free of codes in order to get a sticker. Stupid state (@ least it's not Cali). I've gotten a price of $817.99 for the Kooks LTs and $237.99 for the Kooks ORY from the WS6 Store. Is that about the right price for them? Do you think I could find them anywhere else cheaper? Lemme know. Thanks in advance.

i've seen the price a little lower(but not much) and yea coated pacesetters here fit great but since you are going with either QTP or Kooks either one will be good. Just keep Dynatech in mind as well. I think tbyrne is doing a GP on them. Stainless and coated (i know some people dont like their short collectors) anyways best of luck!

Does anyone prefer the Kooks to the QTP or vice versa? Also I should mention that I have a Magnaflow catback currently. I love the way it sounds and would just like it to be louder and deeper.

Agreed, same basic design and materials, save for the high-end QTP with the high-flow collectors. If you have a place in NC that specializes in F-body cars, check with them first you may be able to find a deal with them on headers.
