Default Different CME options?

I've been really torn between the many exhaust options available for the LS1. The car is completely stock so I'm not looking to get any huge performance gains, just a nice sound and look. I'm liking the CME setups more and more everytime I see them, and I got to thinking now might be the time to go for it if I'm going to, because the car has a new hood I need to get around to getting painted also. I've only seen the SLP kit at some of the sponser's websites, and I was curious if there were other good packages I'm overlooking? Is the SLP one the way to go?

Nope, the CME is a terrible exhaust. That's why you should sell it to me.

In all seriousness, those tips are my favorite and there's other options for a different sound. You can take the CME and lower valence off and put a new catback on. You'll have different tips and a different sound that way. Or you could just buy a different catback and take it to a shop where they can put it in, but mate it up to your current CME tips. That's a popular option too.

As far as other brands go, there are all of these different catbacks:
B&B
Bassani
Borla
Borlamouth (mix of Loudmouth with a Borla XR-1 muffler)
Corsa
Dynomax
Dynomouth (mix of a Loudmouth with a Dynomax resonator)
Edelbrock
Flowmaster
GHL Motorsports
GMMG
Hooker
MAC
Magnaflow
Mufflex
Random Tech
SLP 2OTL, Dual-Dual, Loudmouth, and Powerflow
Spintech
TSP Rumbler

Look through LS1sounds.com to find a sound you like of those. I currently have Magnaflow, but will be switching to SLP's 2OTL for a smoother sound. If I were you and you wanted a different sound, I'd just buy a new catback or muffler and have a shop attach it to your current CME.

CME is kinda cute, semi-unique and the setup is a
step up from the factory Z/28 exhaust. But you
may find it annoyingly quiet (at least until you
uncork the front, mine sounds a lot healthier now
that the stock cats are, umm, low restriction).

I will be keeping mine when the headers go on, it
whispers "solid citizen" as I motor past the sheriff
and the cutout is there when needed.

There is the "factory" version and a couple of
quad-tip ones too. Near as I can tell only the
post-muffler plumbing differs from the dual-dual
SLP option (extra 90 bends and the aluminum
double-bell casting). I believe there are different
valances between the stock, and the aftermarket
kits; seen some complaints about the 2-piece
aftermarket ones but don't recall the specifics.

You can see CME take-offs pop up occasionally
here in the Parts For Sale section and on eBay.
Taking the back pieces off cleanly is tough, the
install uses old-school crush style muffler clamps
and this means something may have to get
hacked to get it off. Also the "bells" are tied
together by a fairly brittle web of casting that
will break if you grief on it. Check condition of
a used piece and be sure it's not messed up, or
buy it at the right price given the need for some
clean-up welding & new pipe etc.

It sounds like you misunderstood my post. I don't have any CME setup....the whole car in fact is exactly as it rolled out of the factory. I was wondering if there were other all-inclusive kits out there other than SLP.
