Default Need help with headers

I am considering lt headers and I was wondering wich were best, and if I would need to redo my existing exhaust? I have a mac y-pipe with a 2.5" catback exhaust.Would i have to change it to a 3"?

Long asnwer:

Loaded question.

The best are QTP/Kooks. They are top quality and made of stainless steel. However, they are of course expensive. You get what you pay for with them.

The most economical are pacesetters. Can get them, coated, with Y-pipe for $500.

Go with 3". Sell the y-pipe and cat-back or hang onto them for no reason like a lot of us do with old parts.

Welcome to LS1tech.com. If you use this site anywhere near it's fullest capacity it will help you IMMENSELY.
