Default jet-hot headers '01 ws6

need some help. cant decide if i really want to get headers or not. well i do, just seeing if theyre worth the $$. about how much power will they add to a '01 ws6 w/ a lid and magnaflow catback? ive read the '01+ manifolds flow better. just curious how much better and how they stack up against a decent set of headers like the jethot's. thanks

With a nice set of heades you will gain around 25 hp or so. I have also heard that the 01 manifolds flow better, but by very little. Thats why some people stay away from shorties, they see very little gains with them. Get the headers you will be very happy with them. Price wise you get what you pay for.

you can't compare a LT with a manifold. . even if they're an 01+ manifold. you'll feel a big difference. get em

the 01 manifolds are basically just shorty headers... i also have jet hot long tubes with a bassani true dual kit, it works VERY well... also... if im reading your post correctly you have a magnaflow catback? if not i have my old bassani catback that i had before my true duals...

and also, if you don't have a y pipe, i also have one of those. it is a jet hot coated y pipe, never used. i got it but never put on my headers while i have the catback... so send me a pm i'd be glad to work with you on the y pipe and catback if you need that as well...

get them they are very important. If you plan on adding a cam later. Pacesetter is the cheapest but good quality. Kooks and QTP are prob. the best. Id go QTP. with a cut out before the magnaflow muffler.
