Default Clear lid installed...pics!

I installed the MTI clear lid this morning! The most time-consuming part was swapping the IAT sensor over. Quality and fit of the lid was great. It seems like it pulls harder, I'll be going to the the track tonight and I'll post the results.

Very nice! I swapped from a direct-flo lid to the MTI clear lid simply for the "cool" factor! It is definately an eye catcher at the local cruise in!

I don't know WTF I was thinking...the track was closed. They open on Fridays and Sundays only. Hopefully I'll have done the pulley tomorrow.

Thanks for the compliments.

That looks real good. If I hadn't read about all the problems people have with those lids, I would get one. Sounds like you were lucky and got a good lid.

You could probably prime and paint a standard black lid.

Looks good. I actually had one of those already ordered and sitting at the house the day I brought my '02 Z28 home. I always wanted to see how it looked with N2O spraying through it. I put my 5177 kit on the car, but never got to see it.

looks like a TSP clear lid, not an MTI

looks very nice though. I thought about doing it, until I realized that I'll never have enough money for the rest of my engine bay to be all perfect and nice looking.
