Default oval exhaust pipe needed

i have a 00 ss thats lowered 1.5" and was thinking since i amhaving problems with exhaust dragging i may rework it with the oval exhaust tubing. where can i get some reasonably priced. i know dr.gas make some im gonna lok around first though.

are you going to be doing the work yourself?

if you have a press..you can just sandwhich the pipe in between two 2x4's and slowly work it to an oval.

thats what i did for my side exhaust.

to make bends..i cut the pipe in my chop saw at 22 degree angles and welded them together.

If youre going to do the DIY route, I would try and use the press on some U bends rather than welding up angles. I had some 30º angles that caused a ton of rasp until i replaced them with smooth bends.

oval can be done in a vise too, just work slow dont try to do it all at once

Spintech sells oval tubing as well. Not sure how it compares to the Dr. Gas stuff though.

i dont have any, i'll try to get some though. its kinda hard b/c my lap top crashed and the pc i'm on is 5 years old slow and doesnt always recognize things plugged into the usb's...but i'll try!
