Default oil gets past AMW

I still get oil into the intake. So I reversed the lines and it helps some. Anybody else have oil getting by the AMW?

I've got a home made catch can that had the same problem. I installed a baffel to help prevent the oil vapors from entering the exhaust line. I also installed a 1950 VW fuel filter inline with the exhaust line. Might want to give the fuel filter a shot.

I still got oil in the intake also right past my oil catchcan in the form of oil vapor,I tried many diferent setup's and finally got rid of my PCV setup and now running four breathers. Now my intake is squeeky clean. I also rarely get any KR now that I run this setup.

I got a metco breather a month ago but didn't install it because of my BMR brace. I'm gonna remove it to install the breather. I also did install a inline filter. Thanks.

I have an AMW catchcan also but unfortunaty a breather was the only way I could stop oil vapor from getting into my intake.

Have you installed the LS6 valley cover?
Those can help.
Another thing is to mount the can farther away from the motor. Use some hose& put a downward dip in the one hose going into the can.
It will help slow & cool the oil mist down some.

Yes I have a LS6 valley cover and tried every thing you metioned plus more, I've even ran aluminum tubing to the catchcan to help cool the vapor to my catchcan that was mounted in the air stream right by the passegers side front headlight, all my catchcan would catch is condensed water vapor, even though there was no oil collected in the can there was still a film of oil all over the inside of the can, the tubing and intake, I even tried a large can to help slow down the velocity of the air.The weired thing is the old LS1 car I had used to collect oil and keep the intake farely clean but this car collects nothing in the can and puts an oily film all over the catchcan and intake, It all finally stopped when I went to valve cover breathers.

LS6 Valley cover here. Not a drop of oil lost between oil changes. Intake ports look clean.
