its just a catback exhaust. It shouldnt affect gas milage at all. My hooker didnt. Now when you get LT headers & a ORY w/o cats you might see a change.

Any mod that frees up exhaust flow, creates a more complete burn, or reduces friction will increase the efficiency of any engine, as well as make more power when you hammer down.

It's when you add bigger TBs, wild heads, and wild cams... that's when your gas mileage start to suffer. Granted, WOT efficiency is much better than stock(OR else it'd be pointless to do such mods and go race), but part-throttle efficiency suffers because big-power engines are tuned for just that - big power. And to make big power you have to burn a lot of gas.

Good grief! Where'd all that come from???

Yep, usually I've seen a slight increase in MPG when freeing up the exhaust system.

Depends. Most people lose gas mileage with exhaust work because they like to listen to it, which burns more gas. If you drive the same it will, as they said, stay the same or improve.
