QTP merge collectors?

Is it worth spending the extra money that QTP wants and get merge collectors on their headers?

If you can afford them, they are hands down the best LS1 header availible, and WILL show gains over other headers with the addition of their HVMC

I got the merge collector qtps and they fit terrible and they would not help me when i called. Id get kooks period. Next time i will for sure, they lost my business forever.

They are well worth it. if you want the most out of your headers. Fit and finish is second to none.

They are the worst fitting I've seen in 30 yrs of doing headers, mine were damaged pretty bad and hanging out of the box when i got them, part of them were not even finished being welded, and the pass side had to be notched on the k member deep. The driver side also hit and had to be notched. I called them and they said they changed the design and they are a lot shorter and they would only give me one, which would not be cool to have two diff headers. so I straightened out the damaged collector they sent me due to poor packaging and welded them up like they should have been to start with and commenced to making them fit. They took many months to get and were not worth even half the money. The company is too backyard to be honest. Id go with someone reputable and large enough to own up to their own mistakes. One that is honest and doesn't steal. A lot of people have gotten kooks within a week. They are also large and reputable enough to be honest and stand behind their work. Do a search and you will find a more detailed write up of my problems with them.
