Default Compression Test questions
Gonna do a compression check on my 98 to try and figure out what's going wrong where.. Pull the plugs, screw in the guage, WOT, turn the engine over 3-4 times, check the guage and repeat 7 more times...

Am I missing anything else I need to do?

Do I need to pull the fuse out going to the fuel pump?

I have'nt looked yet, but when I go to the fuse box will it be labeled Fuel pump on the fuses?

on the fuse cover it will be labled, the one in the enigine compartment

disable the ignition, too. also, do a dry test on all the cylinders, then do a wet test. it'll let you know if you have a ring problem.

I am also going to do a compression check. What is the proper way to disable the ignition system?
