LS6 used parts pricing Hello,
A local racer blew up her LS6 engine and replaced the whole thing. She's selling parts off of it and I'm thinking of picking them up for my 2000 TA. I was looking at picking up the intake manifold, heads and possibly the cam. Manifold is perfect, but the heads may need to be cleaned up a bit. She's still not sure about the cam. It may have some damage on the journals.
Anyway, what's a fair price for each of these parts? If I don't buy, they're just going to put them on Ebay and wanted to get about what they'll get on Ebay.
Also, will these parts bolt right on without any other mods to my LS1? Anything I should be aware of?

I think a LS6 goes for arond $300 usually, stock assembled LS6 heads around $800, and maybe $200 for a used cam. If I had to guess, I'd say these prices are on the high side of what you'd pay for used stuff. Everything will fit on a LS1. I believe there's some minor changes that have to be made for the intake, but tons of people have made the swap. Check out www.ls1howto.com for the step by step instructions.
