How Much will shorty's effect my....
hey guys, just wondering. How bad will my car haveing shortys effect my horse power with the mods in my SIG.
Also getting 30 pound svo's & of course a TUNE! I want atleast 400 rwhp... Will it be possible?
If your wondering why i got shortys its because im in california...The long tubes wont pass visual So im going with the best set up i could possibly go with and still pass smog. Anyways what do you guys think??

From what I gather, you could be just as well off getting some used OEM manifolds off a 2000 F-body. From '00-on, GM reworked them to flow better, to the point that shorties won't increase power hardly at all.

I am running the same setup as a friend of mine and he is dynoing 30 hp higher with long tubes and not cats, versus my JBA shorites and stock ypipe with cats. He is at 410 rwhp and me at 380 rwhp.

It must be a mis-print. AFR's don't come in 202's, they are 205's.
