Default MAC header install...

What's the best way to go about putting these headers in? I'm assuming they're gonna have to go in from underneath...

Any tips on making it go in easier?

Search is your friend. I'm sure there are countless threads here addressing header install.

This is another thread from a local board that I found very helpful: http://www.carolinarides.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=3948

I got both of mine in from the top. Had to remove the coilpacks and valvecovers and it took some massaging and patients, but they went in. They're going to get some scratches on them, so don't worry about it. The coating on Macs sucks anyway.

Yup, mac coating sucks, and you will scrape them, unless your extremely careful, and even then I dont think it will happen. I got mine in from the bottom since I have a 98 and the individual coilpacks. I couldnt reach the rear coilpacks so i said **** it and put them in from the bottom and they went in fine with a little "massaging" haha. Good luck though and take your time!

put them on mine and it was a pain in the *** but as long as you take your time it shouldn't be bad
take the coil packs and valve covers off, they "should" slide in easy from the top

Driver side from bottom and passenger side from top(with a lot of scraping). They can pretty much go in from either top or bottom.
