will it mess anything up inside the car if I take a hammer and pound the floor up under the rear seats? I don't want to mess anything up but I do want to find a way to make a pair of 40 series Flowmasters fit into my dual set up. I don't want to be too loud with the one chambers. I'm curious if hammering under the car would mess anything up though and if a 40 seriers could fit?

i beat the underside of my car in and you cant even tell.....not from underneath or inside.....and 2 chamber flows sound pretty damn good....but i have alittle drone in 6th gear under 60 mph....but nothing the stereo cant fix

fwiw heres mine. I didnt have to beat in my floorboards I have 4.25" all the way around, and just under 4" at the muffler

I think that I'm gonna run out of room though with a BRM torque arm under mine and not the stock piece...it looks a little beefier. Also I don't want all the noise that comes with the 1 chambers since they are a race muffler and a 2 chamber would be a little calmer for cruising.

don't see any reason why it shouldn't. it might get a little close where the pipe goes over the axle. but no more than any other exhaust. after all, the pipes are 2.5". most single exhausts are 3".
