98 -> 99+ Valve Cover Conversion

Anything special to do this...I'm thinking of going to LS6 heads.

I know I need new heads/ center bolt valve covers & gaskets...

The 98 coil packs are mounted separately, where the 99+ are on a rail or something...do I need to get that rail? ...if so, anyone know a part #?

Will 04-05 GTO valve covers work?

you need the coil pack brackets and center bolt valve covers. thats all, i bought mine off of ebay. any center bolt valve covers will work.

cener bolt valve covers and the coil pack bracket is what u need , found mine in the for sale section

I would just go to local GM dealer you can get the pair of coil brackets for 30 bucks. Beats having to buy them from someone online. Easier just go right to GM and get them the next day. I recently put a 04 LS6 engine in my 98z i needed brackets.
