Do mac midlengths bolt up to stock y pipe??? just like it says. im thinking of getting the mac headers but keeping my stock y pipe and cats...at least for a while. do the mac midlength headers bolt right up to the stock y pipe and catback with no fabricating/customizing??

Stock catback can be reused as-is, but not the Y-pipe/cats without custom work.

anyway, lets stick to the topic. im guessing from what the first guy siad that it cannot be done. i guess ill just get the mac ory pipe with the headers. thanks fellas

I like my Macs. You will need to run thier Y pipe. Ground clearance is very good, and performance is also much better than stock. Low end may even have a slight advantage over LT's...
When looking at dyno comparisons, the Mac's are a little more peaky. I would recommend these headers.

Ran Macs for a while on my 02Z and loved the ground clearence. They were alot harder to install than my pacesetter LT"s, however still very good headers! Y pipe is adjustable which was nice..

bought my Macs used for something like $260 shipped. The guy even welded fake cats around the ORY for a visual on the state inspection tests. I've seen Macs going for about $200 now for everything and they come up on here about once a month. Their style tends to cause a little more rasp sometimes. I got about 0.3-0.4 off my 1/4 with them too.
