Not neccessary, but it will give you some extra power that you are leaving behind by not getting it tunned.

Won't I feel more power without the tune just because it'll be better flowing...much better flowing.

Yes, you will have better flow, but in order to take full advantage of it, you should recalibrate to add fuel and timing advance.
