I know how you feel man. I got Pacesetters to TSP Y-Pipe (no cats) to Flowmaster muff and i have to say, i expected it to be WAAAY louder than it is now. Like you said, mine has almost no tone at all. It almost has kind of a whistle noice or a "swooshing" noise. I'm going to get cutouts soon so i'm not going to worry about it.

I have hooker LT's, and a custom made Y pipe ( No Cats ) with a magnaflow muffler. it's sounds pretty kick *** to me!
