MAF BAD, 90mm check in please
My MAF is bad it was causing an intermitant bucking. Felt like fuel was shut off and turned back on in a split second. I never got a code until a couple of days ago.
P0101 MAF
Temporarily replaced it with one that Greg had in his shop. This piece was gutted ans ported. The center fin was totally removed. I did an idle relearn and went for a ride. Runs the best it has since the install of the 427
Well this lead me to think. (yes, I do once in a while)
We increase the intake and throttle body to 90 mm but the air still has to come through the MAF.
Shouldn't the diameter of the MAF be increased.
The LS2 has the same size.
I called FRED BEANS today and asked what was being used in the LS7. It is unlike the others, it is inserted into the side of the airbridge. They had no pictures to see if the the plug is the same.
Can this be used? Maybe
Has anyone tried this?
What should I get?
