black smoke Hello! recently i have noticed that on wot it comes black smoke......
I have mafends on the car and a maftranslator...... the translator is set to 10% rich on the maf base and 4% on maf wot.
Could this be the, case? if i redused the wot to 2% maybee?

yes its set to richen up cause the mafends make it go lean.......
the former owner did this so that is why i´m asking, i dont want to **** up anything

First you should get rid of that MAF translator and then take off those MAF ends and put some stock ones back on it. I've never heard anything good about messing with the MAF. Also, it might be kind of hard to do in Sweden but you should get a dyno tune so they can get the a/f ratio where its supposed to be(12.8-13:1).

But the car runs real fine! Roasted a c5 a couple of days ago
i´m thinking that if i decrease the maf wot from 4% rich to 2% rich it might get better? maybe i need to get a scan tool.....

i need to get a scan tool.....if the car isn't running bad..I wouldn't worry about it, but if you cang et a dyno tune..i'd get it because your leaving some power on the table running so rich.
Do a search on maf ends and you will find that they are nothing but trouble. Id take them off. Id ditch the maf translater and wait for funds for more serious mods. Before you spend more money id study up for awhile here, then go for it.

but i dont have any big problems, its just a little rich nothing else.... i was just thinking that if make some little changes to the maft the car wont run so rich..
is there no one that has tuned with maft, i know its old but there has to be some one....and since i live in sweden i dont have anyone that can tune the car...
