Which Headers DON"T scrape?
I see there is still alot of misinformation about header clearance. A mid length or even a shortie will not give you any more ground clearance that a longtube (slp excluded). The pacesetter, flowtech, hooker, and jet hot for example all tuck about the same. When I say they tuck I mean they are almost touching the underside of the car. The pipe that you will hook up to the header in most cases has to be bent or adjusted downwards a little or you need to cut the reinforcement under the floor to get the pipe to clear the body.
So even with a shortie or mid length if you have a 3" pipe hooked to the header it cant go any higher than a longtube's collector is because its already as tight as you can get it.

As an owner of Macs I agree. The Y pipe hangs just as low as the hooker LT+ ORY. With stock suspension, it scrapes from time to time.
When I got mine, SLP's or FLP's were the only other availible (hooker had not yet come out with Y pipe), which is why I went with Macs.
